Selection Procedure in bank Of Maharashtra
for Probationary Officer:
Candidates
applied for the post of probationary officers under Bank jobs of Maharashtra
will be allowed for online exam and those who pass the online exam will have to
undergo personal interview and document verification for the Recruitment.
Those who pass
all the above procedures will be selected for one year training program with
three months internship. After completing the training program the candidate
will be awarded with “post graduate diploma in Banking and Finance”. Only those
who successfully complete the training program will get the Appointment
letter for the Bank job of Probationary officers in Bank of Maharashtra.
Online Exam:
Online exam
for this bank jobs will be conducted by IPBS or any other institution decided
by bank. The exam will be objective type. And the exam will be in four
different subjects.

Aptitude
3) English
Language
4) General
Awareness (with special reference to Banking industry)
As per the
Recruitment notification of Bank of Maharashtra , Each exam will be of 50
questions each and maximum 50 marks per subject. Exam will be conducted in
English and Hindi Language and duration of the exam will be two hours.
Personal
Interview:
Once the
candidate is short-listed after the exam, he will have to undergo personal
Interview and group discussions.
Candidates who successfully pass the written exam and
personal interview/Group discussion will have to undergo “POST GRADUATION
DIPLOMA IN BANKING AND FINANCE” course at their own expense for one year and 03
month internship in bank branches. Bank will provide stipend of 20000 during
internship.
Note: Bank will provide you the Education loans which
will be payable after completion of the course. (You can refer the Recruitment

Service
Agreement with Bank of Maharashtra:
The candidate
will have to sign a service bond of minimum two years in the bank job from the
date of their joining in bank’s service. Or the candidate will have to pay back
the full amount of stipend received during the internship period.
