Physical Requirements for Appling Indian Navy Recruitment:
For PILOT:
Eye Sight: Distant Vision 6/6, 6/9 Correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour blind/night blind
Height: 162.5 cm with related weight, Leg Length, Sitting Height and Thigh Length
NAIC:
Eye Sight: Distant Vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 should not be colour/Night blind
Height: 157 cm for Male. 152 cm for Female, with related weight
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be done on the basis of
1) Performance in Educational qualification
2) SSB(Staff Selection Board) Interviews
a. Stage 1
b. Stage 2
3) Medical examination
4) Pilot Aptitude Battery Test(for Pilot Candidates)
1) Performance in Education Qualification:
Candidates will be first selected based on the merit in the education qualification. Candidates having good percentage of marks will be selected for next step
2) SSB (Staff Selection Board) Interviews:
SSB interviews will be held in two stages. They are
a) Stage 1:
This consists of Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception, and group discussion tests
b) Stage 2:
This stage consists of the Psychological test, Group task test, and interview.
Candidates who fail in above interview will be disqualified for next step.
3) Medical examination:
Candidates who successfully complete the SSB interview will have to undergo Medical examination. Candidates who successfully completes medical exam will be appointed for training.
4) Pilot Aptitude Battery Test:
The candidates applied for Pilot post will have to undergo pilot Aptitude battery Test after medical examination
