As per the Assam public Service Commission Recruitment notification no – 15/2016, 12 Vacancies Inspector of Drugs is available under the Health and Family Welfare department. Candidates who have completed Graduation and those who are in the age group of 18-43 years can apply for this Inspector jobs in Assam. Education Qualification
Candidate must be a graduate in Medicine or Science from a recognized university. OR Degree Holder in pharmacy/pharmaceutical Chemistry/Post Graduation in Chemistry with pharmaceutical as specialized subject from a recognized university. OR Diploma holder in pharmaceutical Chemist from the Pharmaceutical society of Great Britain.
Preference will be given for candidates having good academic qualification, Good health for ample travelling and for those who are having experience in handling legal matters of any institutions of Assam Government.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on Interview or Written Test.
If The number of application received in less numbers, Then candidates will be directly called for interview. If the Applications is large in numbers, then candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying exam. Or by Conducting a Multiple choice objective written examination

Candidates have to download the apsc application form that is attached below and fill all the required details and paste a recent passport size photograph in the provided space and enclose another copy of photograph with the application and send it to the Assam Public Service Commission office along with self attested copies of all the education certificates, caste certificates and experience certificates.
The envelope containing the APSC Application form should be supersribed as “Application for the post of Inspector of Drugs under the health and Family Welfare Dept”.
