KSP – Karnataka State Police have issued the recruitment notification for the post of Police constable in the wireless department of Karnataka State Police. Total 211 vacancies are available in this Police constable recruitment, out of which 188 vacancies are for Male Candidates, 21 for female candidates and remaining two vacancies are reserved for Male candidates from Hyderabad-Karnataka Region. Education Qualification:
PUC or Equivalent in Electronics/Electricals/Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Computer Science/Telecommunications from a recognized university from a recognised university.
Selection Procedure
Selection for this Karnataka Police Recruitment will be based on Written Test, Physical Test and Medical Test.
Written Test – Candidates who apply for this KSP Recruitment will have to attend the written examination. Date of the Karnataka State Police Examination will be updated in the official website kps.nic.in and candidates have to download the admit card from the website only. Written test will be of 100 marks objective type and there will be negative marking for wrong answers, 0.25 marks will be reduced for each wrong answer.
Physical Test – Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for Physical Test, It consists of two steps, Physical Measurement Test and Physical Endurance Test
A) Physical Test
Male candidates – Minimum 168cm Height and 86cm chest with Minimum 5cm expansion
Female Candidates – Minimum 157cm height and 45kg Weight
Candidates from Tribal areas of Karnataka
Male – 155 Cm Height and 75cm chest with minimum 5cm expansion
Female – Minimum 150cm Height
B) Physical Endurance Test
Male – 1600 meter running in 6 min 30 seconds, Minimum 1.2 meter High jump or 3.8-meter long jump and short put (7.2 kg) of minimum 5.6 meters long.
Female/Ex-servicemen – 400 meter running in less than 2 minutes, 0.9 Meter High jump or 2.5-meter long jump and Short put (4Kg) of minimum 3.75 meters long
Medical Examination – Candidates who successfully qualify all these tests will be called for Medical examination conducted by Medical Board.
