Selection Procedure
Selection for this Executive Officer Jobs in Tamil Nadu will be made on the basis of Written examination and Interview.
Written Examination – TNPSC exam will be conducted in two Subjects for 300 marks each and 3 hours duration each. Qualifying marks in this exam as Per TNPSC Notification will be 40% for general Candidates and 30% marks for SC/SCA/MBC/DC/BC and ST candidates.
Interview – Interview will be conducted in the form of Oral exam and the maximum marks will be 80.
TNPSC Exam Pattern
TNPSC exam for this Group 8 services will be conducted in Two Different subjects
Paper I – General Studies (75 items), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 items), General Tamil and general English (100 items). Total 3 Hours duration and 300 marks, and these subjects will be of SSLC standards.
Paper II – This paper will be conducted in Tamil Language only for 300 marks and 3 hours duration. This subject will also be conducted in SSLC Standards.

Candidates have to apply online for this TNPSC Notification 2017 through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Official website www.tnpsc.gov.in.
Candidates have to register themselves by providing basic details and paying the one time Registration fees of Rs 50/- (Candidates who are already registered can login using the user ID and password – No need of registration)
After registration is complete, candidates have to fill the TNPSC Group 8 online application form and pay the TNPSC exam fees.
Examination Fees:
Registration Fees – Rs 50/- (Candidates who have already registered are exempted)
TNPSC Exam Fees – Rs 100/- (SC/ST/PWD/Destitute widows are exempted)
Candidates can pay the examination fees online while filling the TNPSC Online application form using Debit card/credit card/Net banking etc. And for those who wish to pay fees offline can pay the fees in State Bank of India or Indian Bank within 2 days of submitting online application form.
