Selection procedure
Selection for this Karnataka State Police jobs will be made on the Basis of Physical Test (Physical Endurance and Physical Measurement Test), Written Examination, Interview and Medical Examination
Candidates who successfully complete Physical Test will only be called for written examination, the final selection will be made on the basis of candidates performance in Written test and Interview.
Karnataka Police Exam Syllabus
Karnataka police exam for the post of Sub Inspector (Intelligence) will be conducted in two different papers, the exam will be at the Graduation level.
Paper I – This exam will be conducted for 50 marks with 90 minutes duration, This paper includes Essay writing (For 20 marks), Precis writing (For 10 Marks) and Kannada to English and English to Kannada Translation (For 20 Marks).
Paper II – This exam will objective type multiple choice questions for 150 marks with 90 minutes duration, This paper consists of subjects like Aptitude Test, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Indian Constitution, History, Science, Mental Ability etc. There will be negative marking in this exam (0.375 marks will be reduced for each wrong answer)
