Age Limit: As on 05-05-2017
Between 18 to 40 Years
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10th Class from a recognised board of education and must have basic knowledge. If selected, candidates have to submit basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognised Computer Training Institute or certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject.
NOTE:
• Candidates have to compulsorily take up his/her residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster
• Candidates should have adequate means of livelihood to support himself/ herself and his/ her family from other sources so as to have to supplement his/her income
How will the Post office GDS selection Procedure?
Selection for this job in Post office will be made on the basis of percentage of marks scored in the 10th exam. The merit list will be prepared automatically on the basis of details provided in the online application form. Candidates having higher education are also eligible to apply but no special preference will be given to candidates having higher education
