Age Limit:
Between 18 to 40 Years
Age Relaxation:
3 years for OBC Candidates and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates
Education Qualification:
Candidates should pass 10th standard from approved state boards by the respective State Govt. / Central Govt and should have basic computer knowledge and will have to submit computer training certificate for 60 days from a recognised Computer Training Institute. Candidates those who have studied computer in 10th / 12th Class can submit certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject
NOTE: Candidates having higher education are also eligible to apply, but no weightage will be given for possessing any qualification(s) higher than 10th Class.
How will be the Post Office GDS Selection Procedure?
Selection will be made on the basis of percentage of marks scored in the 10th class. The merit list will be automatically generated on the basis of details provided in the online application form
NOTE: Candidates those who gets selected for the post of GDS BPM must mandatorily take up his/her residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster

3. Cycling knowledge is a pre-requisite condition for GDS posts attached with outdoor duties
