Educational Qualification:
- Technical Assistant Grade III (Chemistry) - Must be a post graduate in Chemistry
- Junior Assistant Technician (Diesel) - 10th pass with Science and Trade Certificate in Diesel Trade
- Junior Assistant (Material Management) - B.Sc. with Physics or Maths as one of the subjects with proficiency in Typing 30 w.p.m. with Certificate / Diploma of minimum duration of six months in Computer Applications in the Office environment
- Junior Motor Vehicle Driver (HV) - 10th pass with valid driving licence for heavy vehicles and three years 2 driving experience of heavy vehicles
- Junior Fireman - 10th pass with Fireman’s training of three months duration with Valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicles
- Assistant Grade-III (Materials Management) - Three years Diploma in Materials Management/ Inventory / Stock Control recognised by the State Board of Technical Education / one Year PG Diploma in Materials Management
- Junior Assistant (Materials Management) - B.Sc. with Physics or Maths as one of the subjects with proficiency in Typing 30 w.p.m. with Certificate / Diploma of minimum duration of six months in Computer Applications in the Office environment

How will be the ONGC Technical Assistant, Driver and Fireman Selection Procedure?
Selection for these posts is as follows,
Junior Fireman: selection for this post will be made through Written test for 90 marks, academic performance for 10 marks.
Junior Assistant Technician (Diesel): Written test for 85 marks, academic performance for 10 marks and Apprenticeship Certificate for 5 marks
For all other posts – Written test for 85 Marks and Academic Performance for 15 Marks
