Educational Qualification:
  • Actuarial - Must be a graduate from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks and must be a  Pass in Nine (9) Papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) Examination
  • Accounts - Must be a graduate from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks and ACA/AICWA/ACMA/ACS/CFA
  • Legal - Must be a graduate from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks and LL.B with 60% marks
  • General - Must be a graduate from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks

How will be the IRDA Assistant Manager Selection Procedure?

Selection for this post will be made on the basis of On-line Preliminary Examination, Descriptive Examination and Interview
Pattern of IRDA Exam 2017
I) On-line Preliminary Examination – This exam will be of objective type conducted in four papers for 160 marks with Composite time of 90 minutes, the subjects included in this exam are
a) Test of Reasoning – For 40 Marks 
b) Test of English Language – 40 Marks 
c) Test of General Awareness – 40 Marks 
d) Test of Quantitative Aptitude – 40 Marks 

II) Descriptive exam – Candidates who qho qualify in the preliminary exam only will be called for this exam, the subjects included in this exam are, 
Paper I: English – For 100 marks and 60 Minutes duration 
Paper II: Economic and Social Issues impacting Insurance – For 100 Marks and 60 Minutes duration
Paper III: Insurance and Management – For 100 Marks and 60 minutes duration
