Staff Selection Commission – SSC Recruitment notification has been issued for the combined higher secondary level exam / SSC CHSL 2017-18 for filling LDC / Data Entry Operator / Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant Vacancies all over India. Candidates between 18 – 27 years of age and those who have completed Higher Secondary / 12th can apply for this posts. Those who wish to apply for any of these posts have to submit the SSC CHSL Online application form before 18th December 2017

Educational Qualification:
- Those who wish to apply for this SSC CHSL 2017-18 must have passed 12th or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised board of education
- For the post of Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India: Must be a pass in 12th standard in science stream with Maths as a subject

How will be the SSC CHSL 2017-18 Selection procedure?
Selection for these posts will be made through 3 stages of exam, Stage-I will be Computer Based Examination, Stage-II will be descriptive paper and Stage-III will be Typing Test / Skill Test
Pattern of SSC CHSL 2017-18
The Part-I / Computer Based exam: This will be objective type which will be conducted for 200 marks with 60 minutes of duration. The Subject included in this SSC exam are,
a) English Language – 50 Marks
b) General Intelligence – 50 Marks
c) Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Marks
d) General Awareness – 50 Marks
Note: 0.5 marks will be reduced for each wrong answer
Stage II / Descriptive paper: This exam will be for 100 marks with one hour duration which consists of Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/ Application of approximately 150-200 words
Stage III – This exam will be of Skill Test/ Typing Test
