India Post has issued a Post Office Recruitment 2016 Notification dated 16-08-2016 for recruiting staffs for different post office jobs such as:
1. Postal or sorting assistant in post office or Railway Mail offices
2. Postman Jobs in Post offices, and
3. Multi-Tasking Staff in Post office or Railway Mail Offices.
1.Postal or sorting assistant jobs in post office or Railway Mail offices
Earnings:
Salary will be 5200-20200 + grade pay of 2400
Age Limit:
The age limit of the applicant as on 23-09-2016 must be between 18-27 years and the OBC candidate will get a relaxation of 03 years and SC-ST will get a relaxation of 05 years.
Education qualification for Post Office Recruitment jobs:
candidates Minimum qualification will be 10+2 higher as notification issued by staff selection Commission. Typing Knowledge and basic computer knowledge.
2.postman jobs 2016 in Post offices
Earnings:
Salary will be 5200-20200 + grade pay of 2000
Age Limit:
The age limit of the applicant as on 23-09-2016 must be between 18-27 years and the OBC candidate will get a relaxation of 03 years and SC-ST candidates will get a relaxation of 05 years.
Education qualification for Postman jobs 2016:
Matriculation from a recognized university.

Age Limit:
The age limit of the applicant as on 23-09-2016 must be between 18-25 years and the OBC candidate will get a relaxation of 03 years and SC-ST candidates will get a relaxation of 05 years.

Matriculation or ITI from a recognized board.
