KPSC Exam Syllabus for the non Technical Group ‘C’ posts of KPSC Recruitment 2016. As per the KPSC notification no PSC 1 RT(4) B-1/2016, Karnataka PSC is filling 1353 non technical vacancies of Govt Jobs In Karnataka. The selection procedure for the KPSC non Technical recruitment will be through competitive written examination. Selection will be done on the basis of percentage of marks secured in the KPSC Exam.
KPSC Exam Pattern:
KPSC Exam will be conducted in two different papers, each paper will be of 100 marks each. KPSC exam will be objective multiple choice type. Paper I will be of General Knowledge for 100 marks and the duration will be of 90 minutes. Paper II will be of Communication for 100 marks and the duration of this exam will be 2 hours.

KPSC Exam syllabus:
KPSC exam will be in two different papers, Paper I and Paper II. The subjects in the paper I will be different for Graduates and for students below graduation level. The Subjects in KPSC exam syllabus are:

Paper I (General Knowledge) – subjects included in this paper are General knowledge of topics relating to current events, General Sciences, Geography, Social Sciences, Indian Society and its Dynamics, Indian History, Indian Constitution and Public Administration, Practical knowledge and Mental Ability, Social and Cultural history of Karnataka, Land Reform and social changes in Karnataka after Independence, Karnataka’s Economy(its strength and weakness, Present status), Rural development, Panchayath Raj Institutions and Rural co-operatives, Role of science and technology for effective administration of Karnataka, Environmental problems and the development issues of Karnataka.
Paper II (Communication) – General Kannada for 35 marks, General English for 35 marks, Computer Knowledge for 30 marks.
KPSC Exam Syllabus for Diploma/PUC and SSLC candidates:
Paper I (General Knowledge) – General Knowledge and topics relating to current events, Matter of everyday observation, Overview of the Indian Constitution, Indian History with special reference to Karnataka, Geography of India With special reference to Karnataka, State and Regional Administration, Economic Development of Karnataka including the initiatives relating to Rural development, Panchayath Raj Institutions and Rural Co-Operatives, Environmental problems and the development issues of Karnataka.
Paper II (Communication) – General Kannada for 35 Marks, General English for 35 marks and Computer Knowledge for 30 marks.
KPSC Compulsory Kannada Subject Exam:
Candidates applying for all the Technical and Non technical Govt jobs in Karnataka will have to write a Kannada subject exam conducted by Karnataka Public service commission. The exam will be of SSLC primary language level for 150 marks. Candidates have to secure minimum 50 marks to pass in this exam.
NOTE: Candidates who have studied Kannada in SSLC or any higher education with Kannada as a main subject/secondary subject or Optional subject or those who have already written the Kannada Language test conducted by Karnataka PSC are exempted from this exam.
