PPSC Recruitment 2016-17:
Punjab Public Service Commission – PPSC is conducting a competitive exam for the Recruitment of Electrical Engineers. The PPSC exam will be conducted for 02 vacancies that are available in the Department of Public Works. Candidates who have completed Electrical Engineering Degree and who are in the age group between 18-37 Years can apply for this PPSC Exam. B.E in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university And Candidates should have studied Punjabi in 10th or equivalent standard.
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be based on a competitive exam and Interview. Candidates applied for this PPSC notification have to attend the Competitive exam conducted by Punjab Public Service Commission for 300 marks and those who qualify in the Competitive exam will be called for interview. The interview will be conducted for 40 marks.
PPSC Syllabus:
The Competitive Exam will be of 100 objective type questions. Each question will be having 3 marks each with 2 hours duration. The PPSC exam syllabus will be of, Electrical Circuits—Theory and Applications, Control Systems, E-M Theory, Electrical Engineering Materials, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Communication Systems, Computers and Microprocessors, Measurement and Instrumentation, Energy Conversion, Power Systems, Power Electronics and Electric Drives, Elements of IC Fabrication Technology.
How to apply:
Candidates have to login t the official Punjab Public Service Commission Website and fill the online application form with Personal details, Address details, Category Details, Qualification details etc. After filling all these details in the online application, Candidates have to upload a copy of photograph and signature. Then Candidates need to take a printout of Fees payment challan and pay the fees in Any branches of State Bank of Patiala.
After paying the fees, Candidates have to login to the PPSC website and take a printout of the fully filled application form and send it along with all the relevant documents to Punjab Public Service Commission office.
