JSSC Exam Pattern
Preliminary exam – This test will be conducted for 150 marks and with 2 hours duration. Each question will be of 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Subjects covered under this exam will be,
General Knowledge – 40 Questions
General Science – 20 questions
Mathematics – 20 Questions
Mental Ability – 20 questions
Basic Computer Knowledge – 20 Questions

Main Examination – This test will be conducted in two different subjects,
a) Paper I ( General Knowledge and Hindi language Knowledge) – This will be objective type multiple choice questions for 100 marks with 3 hours duration, each question carries 1 mark and 1/3 marks will be reduced for every wrong answer
b) Paper II (Subjects related to Chemistry/Physics/History as chosen by the candidates) – This exam will be conducted for 150questions objective type, each question carries 2 marks and 2/m marks will be reduced for each wrong answer
