Punjab Police Recruitment
Punjab Police has issued the job notification for the recruitment of JailWardens and Matrons in the department of Jail. Total 267 Punjab Police vacancies are available, out of which 210 are for male candidates (Warder) and 57 for Female candidates (Matrons). Candidates selected for this Punjab Police Jobs will be posted with the salary of Rs 10300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs 3200/-. Candidates who have completed 10+2 and those who are in the age group of between 18-25 years can apply for this Punjab Police Warden Recruitment. Selection Procedure
Selection for this Punjab Police Jobs will be based on Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening test (PST).
Physical Measurement Test for Wardens
Male – 5 feet 7 inches height and 33 inches chest and 34.5 when expanded
Dogras/Gurkhas (Male) – 5 feet 4.5 inches height and 33inches chest and 34.5 when expanded
Physical Measurement for Matrons
5 feet 3 inches height and 50 kg weight
Physical Screening Test for Warders
Male – 1600 mtr race to be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds, Minimum 3.80 mtr long jump and Minimum 1.10 mtr High Jump
Ex-servicemen below 35 Years – 1400 Mtr walk and run to be completed in 9 minutes and 10 full squats
Ex-servicemen above 35 years – 1400 mtr walk and run to be completed in 12 minutes and 10 full Squats
Physical Screening Test for Female (Matron)
800 mtr race to be completed in 4 minutes and minimum 3 mtr Long jump and Minimum 0.95 meter High jump
Candidates will be awarded marks based on the Physical Measurement Test and performance in the Physical Screening Test. And based on the merit of marks scored in PMT and PST, candidates will be selected for these Punjab Police vacancies
