Indian Bank Jobs Notification has been published for the available vacancies for the post of Probationary Officers. The recruitment is made for the Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Course that is offered by Manipal Global Education Services 2017-18. Total 324 Vacancies are available in Indian Bank, out of which 48 posts are reserved for SC Candidates, 24 for ST and 87 for OBC Candidates. The PGDBF course will be of One-year duration that will be held at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB). On successful completion of the PGDBF Course, Candidates will be appointed as Probationary officers in the grade of JMG I. Selection Procedure
Selection for this Indian Bank Recruitment 2017 will be made on the basis of Online exam and Interview. Online exam consists of Preliminary and Main exam.
Pattern of Indian Bank Exam
1) Preliminary exam – will be conducted for 100 questions for 1 marks each with one-hour duration. The subjects included in this exam are
a) Reasoning ability – For 35 marks
b) English Language – For 30 Marks
c) Quantitative Aptitude – For 35 Marks
2) Main Examination – This exam will be conducted in two different types, Objective Type test for 200 questions of 01 marks each with 2 hours duration and Descriptive Type test fro 50 marks and 30 minutes duration, The subjects included in this exam are
a) Reasoning ability – For 50 Marks
b) English Language – For 40 Marks
c) Quantitative Aptitude – For 50 Marks
d) General Awareness – For 40 Marks
e) Computer Knowledge – For 20 Marks
f) Descriptive Type Test for English Language (Letter writing and essay) – 2 questions for 50 marks and 30 minutes duration.
3) Interview – Candidates who successfully qualifies in the main exam will be called for Interview. This Interview of Indian Bank Recruitment 2017 will be conducted for 100 marks, candidates need to score minimum 40 marks (35 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
Final selection of candidates for this Indian Bank jobs of Probationary Officers will be made by taking into consideration the total marks scored in the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.
