Selection Procedure
Selection for this Karnataka State Police Detective Sub Inspector Posts will be made on the basis of Physical Endurance Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written examination and Interview.
Candidates those who qualify in the Physical Endurance Teat and Physical Fitness Test will be called for Written test and those who qualify in the Written examination will be called for interview. The Final Selection will be made on the basis of Merit of marks scored in the written examination and Interview.
Scheme of Karnataka Police Exam
The exam for the post of Detective Sub-inspector posts in Karnataka Police will be made on two papers,
PAPER I – This paper will be for essay writing, précis and Translation. This exam will be conducted for 90 Minutes duration for 50 marks (20 marks for Essay writing, 10 marks for Precis writing and 20 marks for Kannada to English/English to Kannada Translation).
PAPER II – This exam will be Objective type Multiple choice questions for 150 Marks with 90 minutes duration (Subjects will be like Current Affairs, History, Geography, Constitution of India etc)
