Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – CSIR national Eligibility Test notification has been issued for the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship Tentatively on 18th June 2017. Candidates, those who have completed M. Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/ B Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks can apply for this National Eligibility Test for Lectureship and JRF. The Completed details of this CSIR NET Syllabus are explained below. The CSIR NET exam Date will be on 18th June 2017. Candidates willing to apply for this National Eligibility Test have to apply online before 08th march 2017.

Name of the exam - Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship
Education qualification:
M. Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/ B Pharma/MBBS with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
Age Limit: As on 01-01-2017
For JRF (NET) – Below 28 Years
For Lectureship National Eligibility Test – 5 Years
CSIR NET 2017 Exam Date and Pattern
The single paper Multiple Choice Questions based test will be held for 200 marks, the subject included in this CSIR NET exam are, Life sciences Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences.

Morning Session – 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Afternoon Session – 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
CSIR NET Syllabus
The question paper will be in three different parts
Part A – Subjects included in this part will be General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc.
Part B - contains subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus.
Part C – Contains questions to test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem

After Submission of the CSIR NET online application, a copy of the online application form along with all the relevant documents.

OBC – Rs.500/-
All other candidates – Rs.1000/-
Application Fees should be paid in any branch of the Indian Bank by cash through bank challan or through RTGS/NEFT
