Education Qualification:
Candidates must have completed 12th class with 50% marks or must have completed Matriculation with ITI Certificate
Cultural Qualification:
Must be having degree/diploma/certificate in Vocal Music from a recognised university, Preference will be given to candidates having Experience in Light Classical Vocal music and performance given on AIR / Doordarshan etc and for those who have won prized at the national level.
Age Limit: As on 01-01-2017
General Candidates – 18 to 29 Years
OBC – 18 to 32 Years
SC/ST – 18 to 34 Years
Selection Procedure
Selection for this Indian Railway jobs will be made on the basis of written test, Practical demonstration and assessment of Talent on the basis of testimonials and prizes. Candidates those who qualify in the written exam will be called for the demonstration test
Railway Exam Pattern
Written exam – Will be conducted for 50 marks with one-hour duration in subjects relating to General Knowledge, Arithmetic and Reasoning. There will be negative marking for this exam, 1/3rd of the marks will be reduced for each wrong answer
Practical Demonstration – For 35 marks
Talent Assessment – On the basis of Testimonials and prized for 15 Marks
