Indian Railway Vacancy notification has been issued for filling 125 posts of Station Master (General - 59, SC - 41, ST - 12, OBC - 13) and 285 posts of Goods Guard (General - 170, SC - 55, ST - 20, OBC - 40). Candidates who are serving regular employees (Except RPF Personnel covered under the RPF Act) of South Eastern Railway can apply for this Indian Railway Jobs. 1. Station Master - 125
2. Goods Guard - 285
Salary:
Station Master - Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs.4200/-
Goods Guard - Rs.5200-20200 + Grade pay of Rs.2800/-
Educational Qualification:
- Station Master - Must have completed graduation from a recognised university or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates having additional Diploma in Rail Transport & Management, Transport Economics, Multimodal Transport (Containerization) from the Institute of Rail Transport, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi.
- Goods Guard - Must have completed Graduation from a recognised university
Experience requirements:
- Station Master - Candidates should be drawing a pay level upto level 5 (7th CPC) on substantive basis (excluding MACP/adhoc promotion etc), if Candidate is working in safety post and upto level 6 (7th CPC) of he/she is working in non-safety post
- Goods Guard - Candidate should be drawing a pay upto level 4 (7th CPC), if he/she is working in safety post and upto level 5 if he/she is working in non-safety post.

How will be the Selection Procedure?
Selection for this Goods Guard / Station Master Jobs in Railway will be made on the basis of written exam only. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of merit of marks scored in the written exam.
