- Operator / Technician (Mechanical): 10th pass with 3 years diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience requirements:
- Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience and also age relaxation will be allowed upto 7 years for candidates having relevant experience

General Candidates – Must be below 28 years of age
OBC Candidates – Must be below 31 Years of age
How will be the HAL Selection Procedure?
Selection for these posts will be made on the basis of shortlisting and Written test. Initial screening of the applications will be done and candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of percentage of marks scored in the Diploma / NAC / NCTVT. Admit card for the written exam will be issued for the shortlisted candidates only
The written exam will be conducted at Bangalore. Exam will be objective type multiple choice questions which will be conducted in three different parts,
Part I – For 20 marks on General Awareness
Part II – 40 Marks on English and Reasoning
Part III – 100 Questions on the relevant discipline
