Total 544 no of Vacancies is available. 398 vacancies in Civil Police, 28 vacancies in Wireless, 90 in Armed force and 28 vacancies in special Reserve police. Candidates interested can apply by filling the KSP online application form before 13th Oct 2016. Salary offered by the Karnataka Govt is same for all the sections around 20000 – 36300/-. Wireless – Degree or equivalent in Physics/Electronics/Electricals/Computer Science/Tele communications with minimum 50% marks in science subjects.

Last date for fees payment: 14-10-2016
Procedure for filling KSP online application form
Candidates have to fill the online application form in the official Karnataka State Police Recruitment website ksp.gov.in before 13-10-2016 and upload a soft copy of photo and signature below 250 KB. After filling the online application form candidate have to take the printout of fees payment Challan and pay the fees in any of the State bank of Mysore or State Bank of Hyderabad Branches before 14-10-2016. Two days after paying the fees candidate have to enter the application number and date of birth in the website ksp.gov.in and take the printout of the complete filled KSP Online Application form.
NOTE: A copy of fully filled KSP Online application form is necessary throughout the selection procedure.
KSP Selection Procedure:
Selection for the Post of KSP Sub-inspector will be done in five different steps:
a) Physical Endurance Test
b) Physical Standard Test
c) Written Test
d) Interview
e) Medical Examination
KSP Exam Syllabus:
Candidates have to download the KSP hall Ticket from the official website ksp.gov.in before attending for written exam. The written exam will be in 02 different subjects.
Subject I: 50 marks 1:30 hrs time
This Test Consists of Essay writing in English and Kannada not more than 600 words for 20 marks, precis question 10 marks and 20 marks for Kannada to English and English to Kannada Translation
Subject II: In English and Kannada objective type for 150 marks 1:30 hrs time.
This Test consists of General Knowledge, Indian Constitution, History, Geology, Science, Reasoning ability, Arts. ¼ of the marks will be reduced for each wrong answer
