Selection Procedure :
Selection for the post of Panchayat Development Officer will be based on the performance in the written examination. There will be no Interview for the selection.
KEA Syllabus:
KEA recruitment will be based on the written exam and the syllabuses for online written examinations are,
SUBJECT I: General Knowledge, Knowledge in Kannada Language and English Knowledge
Subjects in General Knowledge – Topics related to current events, General Sciences, Geography, Social Sciences, Indian Society and its dynamics, Indian History, Indian Constitution and Public Administration, Practical Knowledge and Mental Ability, Social and Cultural history of Karnataka, Etc.
English and Kannada Language – Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, Synonyms, Antonyms, Power to Understand and comprehend English/Kannada Language And ability to discriminate between correct ad incorrect usage.
SUBJECT II: Rural Development and Panchayath Raj
This includes subject such as Constitution of Grama Panchayath, Functions and duties of Grama Panchayath, Staff of Grama Panchayath, Taxes and Fees, Grants and funds of Grama Panchayath, Financial Control and Audit, Constitution of Taluk Panchayath and Zilla Panchayath etc.
The exam will be conducted in two different subjects as objective type, each subject will be having 100 questions for 200 marks. And each exam will be conducted for two hours.
Application Procedure:
Candidates have to apply online through the official website of KEA Recruitment on or before 15-10-2016. After applying online, candidates have to pay the fees in any of the E-Post offices across Karnataka. Payment of fees has to be made on or before 18-10-2016.
