The duties of Multi Tasking Staff includes maintaining Physical records of section, Carrying files and documents within the building, Opening and closing of rooms, watch and ward duties etc.

Age Limit: As on 24-10-2016
Between 18 to 25 Years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 Years
OBC – 3 Years
Physically Handicapped (PH) – 10 Years
Ex-servicemen – Total years of service + 3 Years
Serving Govt employee – Upto 35 Years of age
NOTE – Physically Handicapped Candidates/Ex-Servicemen/Govt employee from SC/ST/OBC category will get relaxation of both categories)
Education requirements: 10th Pass or ITI

Selection Procedure:
Written Test (Aptitude Test) – Selection will be Merit based on the marks secured in written test. Written Test will be for 100 questions each carrying 01 mark with 02 hours duration.
India Post Exam Syllabus:
Written Test will be conducted in four parts, The topics covered under each parts are,
1) General Knowledge (For 25 marks) – Indian Geography, Freedom Struggle, Culture and sports, General Politics and constitution of India, Indian Economy, General Science, Current affairs and Reasoning and analytical ability.
2) Mathematics (For 25 marks) – Number System, Decimals and Fractions, Percentages, ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time and work, Time and distance.
3) English ( for 25 Marks) – Article, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms and Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Proverbs.
4) Regional Language/Hindi ( for 25 marks) - Article, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms and Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Proverbs

Candidates have to apply online on the official India Post Recruitment Website before 24-10-2016. Candidates have to fill the online application specifically in MTS Recruitment. Candidates have to upload a photograph and Signature between 2 KB to 100KB while filling the Online application form. After filling the application form candidate have to print the fees payment receipt which will be generated after submitting the India Post online Application form and pay the fees in any of the e-post office across India before 27-10-2016.
