Punjab police is Recruiting 200 no of male candidates for the special security group of Armed Police cadre of Punjab police. 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized university. Candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the subjects.

Selection procedure for Police Constable Recruitment:
Selection procedure will consist of four steps
1) Drug Addiction Test – The First step of the selection procedure for Punjab Police recruitment will be Substance Abuse Test or Drug Addiction Test. Those who pass the drug test will only be allowed for Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test.
2) Physical screening Test/physical endurance Test – This Test consist of 100 meter Race, Rope climbing, Standing Board Jump.
3) Physical Measurement Test – This Include the height and Chest measurement
4) Interview cum Personality Test – A preliminary Merit list will be prepared based on the above selection procedure and from the merit list the Punjab Police Recruitment board will select the candidates to be called for interview. This test the Recruitment board will be testing the suitability of candidates for the job and Job requirements of Punjab Police.
How to Apply for Punjab Police Recruitment:
Candidates have to fill the online application form for the Special security Group Police Constable Recruitment in the Punjab police official website. First Candidates have to register themselves by providing the basic details, a unique registration id and password will be generated in registration. After the registration candidates have Upload copy of photograph and signature and pay the exam fees Through Debit card/Credit card/Net banking. Candidates who wish to pay the exam fees through offline mode can take a printout of fees payment receipt and pay the fees in any of the branches of HDFC bank.
