Graduation in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a recognised university.

Between 18 – 28 Years of age (Born between 01-01-1988 and 31-12-1997)
Selection Procedure
Selection pattern of this JK Police Sub Inspector Recruitment consists of Physical Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, Written Examination and Viva-Voce/Personality Test.
Physical Endurance Test
a) Male Candidates - Long Race (1600 meters in 6 ½ minutes) and Push-ups (20) and Long Race
b) Female Candidates – Long Race (1000 meters in 6 ½ hours) and Short Put (4kgs – 14 ½ feet in three attempts)
Physical Standard Test – Measurement of Height and Chest
Written examination – Candidates those who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standard Test will be selected for written examination, Objective type for 85 marks (Graduation Level).
Viva-Voce/Personality Assessment Test – For 15 Marks (only for those who qualify in the Written examination)
