Only Unmarried male candidates born between 02-07-1998 and 1-07-2001
Education Qualification:
a) For Amy Wing of National Defence Academy – 12th Pass in 10+2 scheme of education from a recognised board
b) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy – 12th Pass in 10+2 scheme of education with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board/University
Selection Procedure
Candidates those who qualify in this UPSC Defence and Naval Academy Exam 2017 will have to appear before the Staff Selection Board – SSB for further Procedures of selection.
The SSB Procedure consists of Stage 1 and Stage 2 of Selection
a) Stage 1 – Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test will be of Picture Perception and Description Test.
b) Stage 2 – Those who qualify in the stage 1 exam will be selected for this step which consists of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference.
Scheme of UPSC Defence and Naval Academy Exam 2017
This UPSC Exam will be conducted in two different papers:
a) Paper I – Mathematics For 300 marks and 2 ½ Hours duration
b) Paper II – General Ability Test for 600 marks with 2 ½ Hours duration
SSB Test / Interview will be conducted for 900 Marks
