MES (Junior Engineer - Quality Surveying and Contract) - Below 27 Years (Born after 02-01-1991)
All Other Posts - Must be below 30 Years of age (Born after 02-01-1988)
SSC Junior Engineer Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted in Two papers, wherein Paper 1 will be of Objective type and Paper 2 will be Conventional Type (Written exam)
Paper 1: This test will be conducted for 200 Marks (1 Mark each) with a duration of 2 hours, the subjects included in this exam is as follows,
a) General Intelligence Reasoning – 50 Marks
b) General Awareness – 50 Marks
c) General Engineer (Concerned Discipline) – 50 Marks
Paper 2: This exam will be of conventional type (Written exam) for 300 marks in the concerned discipline with duration of 2 hours

Application fees:
