Eligibility Requirements for this Air India Recruitment 2018
Age limitation: General Category- the candidate must Not be above 35 yrs. as on 1.11.2017. OBC - Not above 38 yrs. as on 1.11.2017 and SC/ST- Not above 40 yrs. as on 1.11.2017
NOTE: In the case of Ex-Servicemen- the Upper age limit of 35 yrs. would be relaxed to the extent till which the candidate has served the country in his regular posts like that in Army/Navy/Air Force before retirement/release or discharge from such post plus three years from then.
What are the Educational qualifications for making Air India Careers?
For aircraft technician - All candidates other than Ex-servicemen should have an AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering from Institutions approved by DGCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC ).
Ex-servicemen should have successfully completed the Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/Engine/Electrical/Instrument/Radio trades which are conducted by the Indian Air Force, or A Diploma in engineering (3 Years) with60%marks or 55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC other details are further mentioned in the notification.
The Candidates should also have a minimum of one year experience in aviation and in aircraft maintenance on the Boeing aircrafts.
Skilled Trades Men in Fitting Trade for Boeing Group: should have a degree of ITI in Fitting which is issued by Govt. of India or ITI / NCVT in Fitter trade and must also have a Minimum three years’ work experience.
Skilled Trades Men in Carpentry Trade for Boeing Group: should have a degree of ITI in Carpentry which is issued by Govt. of India or ITI / NCVT in Carpentry trade and must also have a Minimum three years’ work experience.
Skilled Trades Men in Sewing Technology Trade for Boeing Group: must procure a degree of ITI in Sewing Technology which is issued by Govt. of India or ITI / NCVT in Sewing Technology trade and must have a Minimum three years’ work experience.
What is the Selection process for Air India Vacancy 2018
Candidates of all this Air India Vacancy will be selected on the basis of their Trade Test/ Interview and Pre-employment Medical Examination.
Examination fees: All the candidates other than SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman candidates have to pay a one-time non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- by A/c Payee Demand Draft in the favour of Air India Engineering Services Limited in Delhi.
