Candidates have to undergo aptitude test for 100 marks objective type exam with 02 hours duration. The test will be conducted in 4 subjects, General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Regional Language Hindi. The topics covered under India Post Syllabus are mentioned below.
General Knowledge – Geography, Indian History, Freedom Struggle, Culture and sports, General Politics and Constitution of India, Economics, General Science, Current Affairs and Reasoning and analytical ability.
Mathematics – Number system, Computation of Whole numbers, Decimals and fractions, Relation between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Use of tables and Graphs.
English – Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms and Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Proverbs etc.
Regional language (Hindi) – same topics as mentioned in the English Language
