Konkan Railway have issued notification for the walk in interview to be conducted at “US-BRL Project Head Office, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, Satyam Complex, Marble Market” At Jammu on 17th November 2016. Seven Vacancies for Project Engineer and Twelve vacancies for Senior Technical Assistant are to be filled in This Indian Railway Recruitment of Engineering jobs walk in Interview. Candidates selected for this Indian Railway jobs will get a fixed remuneration of Rs 45000/- for Project Engineer and Rs 35000/- for Senior Technical Assistant.

Contract Period – 2 Years (extendable based on the performance)
Job Location – USBRL Project, Jammu and Kashmir
1) Project Engineer (Fabrication)
No of Vacancies – 07
Salary – Rs 45000/-
Age Limit – Below 50 Years
Education Qualification – Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 55% marks from a recognized university.
Professional Qualification – Certified welding Inspector (CWI) Course or ASNT level 2 in NDT or equivalent (UT and MPI Minimum)
Experience Requirement:
a) Minimum 8 years experience of working in Public or Private Limited Company, OR
b) Minimum 5 Years experience in Planning, Execution, Supervision or quality Control and quality assurance of Fabrication of Heavy Structural Steel Structures, Preference will be given to candidates having these experience in Railway or Road Bridges, OR
c) Minimum 5 Years experience in Mechanized welding of heavy structural Steel preferably Railway or Road bridges or should be able to understand and prepare WPS Fabrication Methods and procedures involved in welding or Fabrication of heavy structural steel or Knowledge of phased array Ultra Sonic Testing Machine (PAUT).
2) Senior Technical Assistant (Fabrication)
No of vacancies – 12
Salary – Rs 35000/-
Age Limit – Below 35 years
Education qualification – Degree or Diploma In civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 55% marks from a recognized university.
Profession Qualification – Not Specified
Experience Requirements
a) Minimum 4 years (Foe Degree Holders)/8 Years (For Diploma holders) experience of working in PSU Organization or Public/Private Company, OR
b) Minimum 1 year experience in Planning, Execution, Supervision or Quality control and quality assurance of fabrication of Heavy Structural Steel structures, Preferably Railway or Road Bridges, OR
c) Minimum one year experience in Mechanized welding of heavy structural steel, Preference will be given for candidates having this experience in Railway or Road Bridger or should be able to understand and prepare WPS, fabrication Methodologies and related procedures involved in welding or Fabrication of heavy structural steels
Age Relaxation
Sc/ST – 5 Years
OBC – 3 Years

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be interviewed only after the preliminary screening test.
