Assam Public Service Commission – APSC Vacancy notification has been issued for 66 posts of Assistant Professor (Technical) in Engineer colleges of Assam, 15 posts of Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) in Engineering colleges of Assam, One post of Librarian in Engineering Colleges, 113 posts of Lecturer (Technical) in Polytechnics of Assam, 86 posts of Lecturer (Non-Technical) in Polytechnics, 11 posts of Librarian in Polytechnics of Assam and 61 posts of Senior Instructor in Polytechnic. Eligibility Conditions:
Age Limit: As on 01-01-2017
Between 21 to 43 Years of age
Education Qualification:
Post No 1 – Candidates must have completed B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.tech in Relevant discipline with first class marks
Post No 2 & 5 – Masters degree in relevant discipline with 55% Marks and NET/SLET/SET cleared and/or PhD. Degree awarded in accordance with the UGC Regulation, 2009.
Post No 3 & 6 – Post Graduation degree in Library Science Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with 55% marks.
Post No 4 – Bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology in relevant subject with First Class marks
Post no 7 – 3 Years Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from a recognised university with 60% Marks
How will the Selection Procedure?
Selection for this Teaching / Non Teaching jobs in Assam will be made on the basis of Shortlisting and Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in the education qualification or by conducting a screening test and only the shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
