Education Requirements:
a) 12th class with Mathematics and Physics and
b) Two years Industrial Training Course in Radio Technician /Electronics/electronics and Communication
Age Limit:
Candidate should be in between 18 – 27 years of age.
Age Relaxation:
a) SC/ST = 03 years
b) Departmental Candidates = upto 40 years of age
c) Widows, Divorced women, women legally separated from husband and not married = upto 35 years in case of general category and upto 40 years in case of SC/ST
Payment of examination Fees
All the male candidates have to pay examination fees of RS 50/-
(All SC/ST and female candidates no need to pay fees)
The candidates have to take a printout of challan from the official Intelligence bureau Recruitment notification and pay the fees at any STATE BANK OF INDIA branches. The counterfoil of challan has to be retained by the candidate.

The Intelligence Bureau recruitment exam will be conducted in two steps
1) Written Examination
2) Trade Test
1) Written examination:
The written examination will be of two subjects and 02 hours each
a) First Subject-80 marks : (Objective type)
General awareness, Numerical Ability, Science, Reasoning
b) Second Subject-80 marks:(Descriptive exam )
1)English Comprehension, 2)Test of English Language, Antonyms, synonyms, one-word substitution, etc and 3)Test of elementary mathematics and science
2) Trade Test-40 marks:
Practical based and technical in nature based on the job profile
Selection Procedure mentioned in Intelligence bureau recruitment notification:
a) Candidate have to appear for the written examination in the examination centre selected by candidate while applying online in the Intelligence bureau website
(Examination centres are: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal , Bhuvaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Siliguri, Trivandrum, Varanasi, Vijayawada)
b) The examination paper of second subject will be evaluated Only those who finishes the exam of first subject upto the expected level of standards.
c) Those who passed both the subjects will be shortlisted for Trade Test
d) The candidates who successfully completes tall three exams will have to go through character verification
e) After the completion of all the above procedures, the candidate will have Medical examination.
Candidate has to keep the original and Attested copy of the below-mentioned documents after applying online for Intelligence Bureau Exam
a) Proof of date of Birth (Birth Certificate or 10th School certificate)
b) 12th Marks card
c) IT Course pass Certificate
