Salary offered as per police job notification is -10300-34800+grade pay of 4600 and other admissible allowance. And the selected candidate may be posted anywhere in Punjab/India/abroad depend on the decision of Punjab Police Department

Eligibility Criteria:
a) Only Indian citizen can apply for the Post of Sub Inspector as per Punjab Police Recruitment Notification
b) Age: As on 01.01.2016
Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST/OBC candidates – 05 years
Ex-Servicemen – 03 years
Candidates who are working in any of the Punjab government Jobs or Indian Government jobs will get relaxation of 05 years (up to 33 years of age)
Education Attribute:
Candidates should have completed graduation on or before 01.09.2016 for applying online to this police job.
Selection Procedure:
Selection for the post of sub-inspector in Punjab police will be done in three different stages

c) Physical Screening Test

Only the candidates who successfully complete the above stages will be considered for Physical Measurement by Punjab police recruitment board.

2) Written Test:
Written test will be of 100 marks and the topics for written test will be General Knowledge, Knowledge about India and Punjab, Mathematical Ability, etc.

Candidates have to pay fees through online banking /credit card /debit card while applying online or can Download the challan form website and pay in any HDFC branches and the challan has to be uploaded in the official website after the fees payment. Amount that has to be paid by the candidates is:
