Education qualification:

certificate of IT from DOEACC-Department of electronic accreditation of
Computer Course or NIELIT-National Institute of Electronics and Information
Technology

2) B.Sc/B.Tech/BE in information
technology or computer science or BCA or Post graduation Diploma in Computer

Selection Procedure for the
post of Intelligence Assistance in Punjab Police:
The
candidates will be selected in three different steps
1) Physical Measurements
2) Physical Efficiency test
3) Written
Test .
1) Physical
Measurements:
a) The
candidate applying for this police job should have minimum height of,
Male – 5.5 (5 feet 5 inches)
Females-5.1(5 feet 1 inch)
b) Should
clear the drug addiction test.
The candidates who complete the physical measurement test
will only be allowed to next stage or next step

Test:
The Candidates who complete the first and second step
will be only allowed for written Test of Punjab police Job. There will be no
Negative marks in the written test, the written test subjects will be:
100 marks objective questions In English medium or
OMR(Optical marks Recognition) sheet
based
50 marks – General Knowledge
30 marks – Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning,
numerical aptitude and reading
comprehension
20 Marks – Basic knowledge of Computer and Information
Technology, Computer hardware,
MS-Office, Common operating systems and internet concepts.
