Indian Air Force Vacancy notification has been issued for the Air Force Common Admission Test – AFCAT for the course commencing on Jan-2018 for the post of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission in Ground duty – technical and Non-technical Branches. Candidates will be selected for this Air Force Jobs through AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). And those who qualify the AFCAT and EKT will only be allowed for further selection procedures. On Successful completion of training period, Candidates those who gets selected for this Indian Air Force Vacancy will get the salary of Rs 82050/- for Flying Branch, Rs 71550/- for Ground duty Technical Branch and Rs 68550/- for Ground duty non-technical branch. Age Relaxation – Up to 26 years of age for those who hold valid and current commercial pilot license issued by DGCA
Education Qualification – Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks and must have passed Maths and Physics 10+2 level or B.E/B.Tech degree or cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks.
2) Ground duty – Technical
Salary – Rs 71550/-
Age Limit (As on 01-01-2018) – Between 20-26 Years (born between 02-01-1992 and 01-01-1998)
Education Qualification
a) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) – Candidates must have scored 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of 4 year degree graduation or integrated post graduation qualification in Engineering Technology from recognised university or cleared Section A and B examination of associate membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in Communication Engineering / Computer Engineering or Technology / Computer Engineering & Application / Computer Science and Engineering or Technology / Electrical and Computer Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or Technology / Electronics Science and Engineering Etc..
b) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) – Candidates must have scored 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of 4 year degree graduation or integrated post graduation qualification in Engineering Technology from recognised university or cleared Section A and B examination of associate membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the Aerospace Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering and Automation / Mechanical Engineering (Production) / Mechanical Engineering (Repair and Maintenance) / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering.

Education Qualification
a) Administration – Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks.
b) Logistics – Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks.
c) Accounts – B.Com degree from a recognised university with 60% marks.
d) Education – MBA/MCA/MA/M.Sc degree in English / Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / International Relations / International studies / Defence studies / Psychology / Computer Science / IT / Management / Mass Communication / Journalism / Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate all paper put together in Post Graduation (Minimum two year programme) and 60% marks in Graduation.
Selection Procedure
Selection for this Air Force Recruitment 2017 will be made AFCAT and EKT. Candidates who successfully complete these steps will be called for Stage I and Stage II of Selection procedure.
