Postal Recruitment notification has been issued for the appointment of meritorious sports persons for the post of Postal Assistant or Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff in the India Post Telangana Circle. Total 08 vacancies are available in this Post office Recruitment 2017, out of which 05 vacancies are for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, 02 postman/Mail guard and 01 Multi Tasking Staff. Candidates Selected for this Postal jobs will be posted with the Salary of Rs 5200-20200/- with Grade pay of 2400, 2000 and 1800 respectively. Sports Qualification

a) International competition certificate awarded by Secretary of the National Federation of the concerned game

b) Nation Competition certificates awarded by Secretary of the National Federation or Secretary of the State Association of the concerned game

c) Inter university Tournaments certificate awarded by Dean of Sports or other officer in overall charge of sports of the concerned university

d) National/Sports/Games for schools certificate awarded by Director or Additional/joint or Deputy Director in Overall charge of sports/Games for Schools in the Directorate of Public Instructions/Education of the State

e) Physical Efficiency Drive Certificate awarded by Secretary of other officer in Overall charge of Physical Efficiency in the Ministry of Education and social welfare, Govt of India

Aim of this Post Office Sports Person Recruitment 

To recruit outstanding sports persons to prepare a best team of Sports Persons, which may bring prestige to the India Post Telangana circle in all over India and other competitions apart from their Official duty. Candidates selected in this India Post Sports Person Recruitment of Telangana Zone will have to compulsory participate in the circle team during All India Postal Tournaments for specified years by the department.

Selection procedure:

Selection for this Postal Jobs will be made on the basis of Education and Sports qualification of teh Candidates. And computer Typing Test will be conducted for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting assistant. The Test will be conducted for 30 minutes duration which consists of one Passage of 450 words in English or 375 words in Hindi to be typed with minimum speed of 3025 words per minute and Data Entry of some figures and Letters. Candidates need to Score minimum 40% marks (33% for SC/ST and 37% marks for OBC) to qualify for this Post Office Recruitment 2017.

Application fees:

Rs 100/- should be paid by all the candidates who apply for Post Officer Recruitment 2017.
